Get Up, Stand Up!

Geek Chic's events team were delighted to be asked by Playful Productions to help the company of the West End's 'Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical' celebrate their last performance in London with our digital Photo Pod, backdrop and online sharing system in an exclusive Central London Venue.

With our interactive attendant, customised, branded photo pod and digital sharing solution, our photo pod went down a storm, taking over 300 individual photos throughout the night - a new record for Geek Chic Events!

Guests were blown away by the technical capability of the Pod, and the ability to instantly share photos and boomerangs to their mobile devices from Geek Chic's online Photo Gallery.

With such a young and vibrant company, the social-forward design of Geek Chic's photo pod was the ideal choice for this event, with every person in the experience able to download the photos taken via QR code, Airdrop or Email, instantly, and our clients at Playful able to access the photos via our online gallery after the event.

Our in-house design team worked with Playful to create a photo layout design which focused on gaining high-quality photos, but allowed for memorable branding for company members to take home a piece of the production they had spent the past years working on together.

For those who wanted to keep individual photos as memories, we also implemented a feature whereby photos could be downloaded outside of the photo templates, ideal for instagram posts, printing for framing or for those who wanted to create their own story layouts on instagram, although with three separate photo layouts to choose from within the booth, this was a rarely used feature!

Playful's team decided to opt for our glitter ball effect backdrop, the colours complementing the branded photo layouts perfectly and creating a feature in the event space.

With full-featured lighting, we captured a huge variety of high-quality photos, and with a pod design, fit more experiencers than the majority of 'traditional' photo booth concepts can dream of!
